I wholeheartedly welcome participants and organizers of the first IPSC Rifle World Championship.

Over 600 best shooters from 38 countries will take part in the Championship, which is the best testament to the high popularity that practical shooting from rifle among young people, people of different professions and ages has won.

The unanimous decision of the International Confederation of Practical Shooting on the holding of the Championship in Russia was taken as a great honor and serious responsibility. And now we can say with confidence that the organizers have succeeded with the tasks of preparing a world-class tournament.

I am sure that the Championship will be a real holiday for its participants and spectators.

I wish all participants, organizers and guests of the Championship health, cheerful mood, further successes and victories in all your endeavors!
